The chair is definitely sturdy, I’ll give it that, but I don’t know, the style just feels really office-y to me. Like it’s not ugly exactly, just kind of plain. For the price, I guess I expected it to look a bit more polished or maybe more modern? It’s comfortable enough, but every time I look at it I’m like, yep, that belongs in a conference room.

"Return went fine, just a little slow"
I returned a Steelcase chair and everything did work out, but it definitely took longer than I thought it would. I had to check in once about the refund, which was a little annoying. The customer service team was polite, just not the quickest. I got my money back in the end, so it wasn’t a bad experience, just could’ve been a bit smoother

I bought my Steelcase chair about 6 years ago, and somehow it’s still sturdy and comfortable. Wild concept, I know — a chair that doesn’t fall apart after a year. The fabric has worn a bit, but nothing has actually broken, so I’d say it’s been worth it for me.

"Putting it together was easier than I expected"
I thought it might be a whole thing, but it only took me about 20 minutes. No missing parts, no weird confusing steps... it just came together easily.

"Support was super slow"
Support took days to get back to me, and when they finally did, it felt like they just sent some copy-paste reply. Kinda frustrating, not gonna lie.

"Super comfy chair for long days"
I’ve been using this chair for long stretches, it stays really comfortable even after hours of sitting. Makes those long workdays a bit easier... no complaints so far.

"I tried to order a chair..."
I tried to order a chair, but the site kept timing out when I got to payment, which was really frustrating. At one point my cart even saved the wrong color, so I had to go back and fix that too. Support did reply eventually, but the whole checkout process felt messy. I don’t really care for the usual polished “we’re improving your experience” type of messaging when the basic ordering part doesn’t work right.

"Shipping was kinda slow"
The chair showed up later than I thought it would, which was a bit annoying. But once it got here, it was fine, no damage, everything looked good. So yeah, shipping took longer, but the chair itself was okay.

"Delivery was reliable, though the box looked a little rough"
I ordered from steelcase.com and, to be fair, the chair arrived right when they said it would. The tracking was clear enough and there weren’t any weird delays, which I appreciated. The box did have a small dent, so it kind of felt like someone wasn’t being super careful along the way, but luckily everything inside was fine. Overall, it was a good experience.

The box showed up in perfect shape with no dents or damage. It was packed well and everything looked fine when I opened it. For the price, I was happy to see it arrive this neatly.

"Solid frame, but some parts feel cheap"
The frame itself seems good, but a few of the smaller pieces feel a little flimsy. I can’t prove it, but it kind of feels like they cut costs on the extra bits. Overall, the build is just okay

"Adjustments were a letdown"
I really wanted to like this, but the adjustments have been disappointing. The armrests wobble more than I expected, which makes the whole thing feel a bit cheap, and the lumbar support barely moves enough to be useful for me. Maybe it works for some people, but those little issues are hard to ignore once you notice them.

"Pricey, but I don’t regret it"
I felt a bit pressured spending this much on a chair, especially after trying a few cheaper ones, but I’m glad I did. It feels solid, comfortable, and holds up well with daily use. Not cheap, but for me it ended up feeling worth the money.
